...horror survival, that is!
Well, I'm out of CoH right now, but I still have things to do; I'd set aside some money a while back for some new games, and most of them are of the survival horror genre.
First, I replayed F.E.A.R., in anticipation of the sequel coming out this month. Man... I'd forgotten how creepy Alma really was!

Now I'm just at the very end of Dead Space. It's not quite as good as F.E.A.R., I have to say. The story's too predictable...
[SPOILERS]
The fact that Kendra betrays you, and that Nicole's been dead the entire time? That was supposed to be a shock? C'mon...

And then there's the controls; they're sloppy and slow, and there's a (no pun intended) huge dead zone on the controls for the 360. At this point I'm just finishing the game for the achievements.
In between these two I played the demos for Resident Evil 5, and F.E.A.R. 2. RE5 left me cold; the control setups are a mess, and the entire feel of the game is different. It feels like Capcom has paid too much attention to all of the zombie shoot-em-ups out there and lost what made the RE games so fun to me; not sure I'll be getting this game anytime soon.
On the other hand... F.E.A.R. 2 is made of complete awesome and win, if the demo is even a hint of what's going to be in the full game. I'm eager for that one!
